    Swim where you want but try to ask open ended questions! 


    QUESTION: What bothered Paul when he came to Athens? Instead of a different god for everything they needed, who did Paul tell them was the one true God that made everything and ruled over everything? What are some false gods that we worship instead of the one true God?

    TAKEAWAY: Without knowledge of the true God, people will worship false gods.

    QUESTION: Why did the Athenians have an altar to an unknown God? What are some things that Paul shared about God? What's wrong with worshiping lots of different gods?

    TAKEAWAY: There is only one true God, and he can be known.

    QUESTION: What does repentance mean? What did the people of Athens need to repent of when they heard about Jesus? Who does God command to repent? Who is coming again to judge the earth?

    TAKEAWAY: Because Jesus will come again to judge everyone on earth, God commands all people everywhere to repent.

    QUESTION: Did everyone who heard Paul preach believe the good news about Jesus? Will everyone whom we tell about Jesus believe the good news?  Should we still tell people about Jesus?

    TAKEAWAY: Like Paul, we should tell people about Jesus even though we can't control how they respond.

  • Little Pilgrim’s Big Journey (A three book series)

    Little Pilgrim’s Big Journey is a beautifully illustrated children’s adaptation of John Bunyan’s classic The Pilgrim’s Progress.
